Card values and basic rules
Number cards (2–10)

Jack, Queen, and King are each worth 10 points. When you draw any of these cards, it counts as 10.
Ace card
An Ace can be counted as 1 or 11 — the player decides. It is best to count it as 11 as long as the total does not exceed 21, and it switches to 1 when needed to avoid going over.
Hit and Stand
Hit means drawing one more card. Stand means stopping without changing your bet and leaving the dealer to resolve the hand.
Double Down
If a player looks at their two cards and chooses Double Down, the bet doubles and only one more card is drawn. This option should only be used at the right moment based on your hand total.
Split
If two cards have the same value, you can Split them into two separate hands. Each hand then draws additional cards and plays against the dealer independently.
